Rainbow whole fruit popsicles recipe

I love looking at the rainbow and fabrics with colorful stripes on – they make me feel like a child, cheer me up and give an energy kick! So, basically, this recipe is a good representation of my personality! ;-) If you want to treat yourself with a healthy sugar-free, gluten-free dessert, give it a try! Below you can find my recipe for the fruit rainbow popsicles!

WHAT DO YOU NEED?

– 6 paper cups and sticks or popsicle molds
– 5-7 cups of fresh fruit of different color (the rainbow has 7 colors but I used just 5 ;-) )

To make sure you put the colors in the right order, I painted the realest rainbow for you:

WHAT YOU SHOULD DO?

Puree each layer of fruit separately with a bit of water. Place each fruit layer in a cup.

My recipe for today:

1 cup strawberries

1 banana + 1 mango

1 1/2 cup grapes

1 cup blueberries

1 cup blueberries + 1/2 cup milk

WHAT’S NEXT?

Once each layer is pureed, pour a small amount of your blueberries into each form starting with violet, I poured ca. 1cm layer.
Freeze the partly filled form for about 1 hour before adding the next layer.
Repeat with the rest of the layers, freezing them for about 1 hour.
Once the third layer is added, place your popsicle sticks in the forms.
