Rainbow fruit oatmeal recipe

Oatmeal is a breakfast super-food. Oats, a whole-grain cereal, are a very good source of fiber and are high in vitamins, minerals and antioxidants. Oatmeal is the ultimate winter breakfast while getting your oats in the summer keeps the body slim. Besides, it’s a great canvas for your imagination to play with fruit and nuts patterns!

Kinga, one of my readers from Zaparzę Ci herbatę blog, loves oatmeal and she challenged me in my rainbow series to make a bowl of rainbow oatmeal! :-)

Basic oatmeal recipe (2 small servings)

Bring 500ml water / plant milk / cow milk to a boil. Add 10-15 tablespoons of oats, reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Use your imagination! Be creative! Let your children play with decoration. I will try to change the patterns every day and try something new for sure!
